UK vs So Cal
Friday the 16th brought UK Global Underground House and Southern California Legends together for a truly special night. The Gold Room featured Davi opening for Ashley Casselle and provided those early dancers with a deep and tribal treat. Then, UK DJ/Producer Ashley Casselle, in his first Los Angeles appearance brought the heat for the remainder of the night. His music more than matched his eclectic style and his boisterous personality affected those on the floor fortunate to be there. Upstairs in the Loft was host to Southern California House Music legends, Wally Callerio and Natural Rhythm. With numerous classic hits under their belts it was no surprise each of their sets was phenomenal and uplifted the entire room. It must be noted this was one of the first appearances by Natural Rhythm in several years as a duo and they didn’t miss a beat so to speak. Spectacular opening sets by both Jordan Strong and David Palmer helped make the Loft a truly great night of House Music for all. The Vanguard continues to prove that it is the destination for dance music on Friday nights with great music, great ambience, and great people.
