This was no ordinary night at the Vanguard Hollywood. The entrance to this event was flecked with gorgeous glittered girls wearing less than the usual attire. Fishnet tights, glossy go go boots, pink tutus and pink wigs surrounded us. Even the tamest club kids of the evening were wearing swim shorts in a neon hue. The stage was set, towering high above the usual stairway inside sat a lifeguard cabana with stage covered by the color of the night. And inside was none other than the pink power ranger! Actually it was DJ BitbyBit spinning some witchy dub step sending the crowd into a head bobbing, gyrating dance machine. Traveling to the bar I was very surprised to see straight from Springfield, pink sprinkled doughnuts cradling little pink doughnut shots. Genius? I think atleast close.

      The bar in it's usual place was barricaded from the hot pink foam pit dance floor which around midnight threw us into this strange and fantastic world that is Perish 69. They sponsored the night bringing their lovely tribe of pretty pink ladies and their pets called the Hollywood Clowns. Dj Ruff was killer playing some sing a longs and changing it up ripping it out of the enormous sound stage. Back toward the bar was a chainsaw wielding ice sculptor that was carving out the perish 69 logo. The conductor wearing a pink fuzzy top hat along with pink jumpsuit and pink floor length fur coat was walking about with the caution wet floor sign laughing in irony while the Pink Pussy Kat dancers pounced and sauntered around him. 

     What sounds like more fun than hot pink foam surrounding you and your new closet friends, hot girls covered in bubbles, and the best electro-dubstep mash up in the area. Plain and simple it's devastatingly delicious and sinfully sensational. Look forward to what the Vanguard LA has in store for you next.
