Love. We don’t get enough of it from parents, friends, neighbors, strangers, the government, or that permanently disgruntled service worker eyeing us with disdain. Forget moping around about it. Being the proactive go-getters of the 21st century, far from sighing and crying over it, we get love wherever we can and when it’s still not enough, we seize matters in our own hands and start making up for all the underwhelming supply.

Has it paid off?  If the Love Festival née Generation Celebration is any indication, the consensus would be it’s paid off in spades. Returning for its 19th annual appearance, what started out as an underground party has since blossomed into one of North America’s longest running and most anticipated annual dance music festivals with the love and support of generations of people intent on spreading love, good vibes, and enjoying both to some of the best beats and dancing to be found on this side of the globe.

This year is no exception as the merry making returns to So-Cal on August 20th with a battalion of talent so fierce, you may very well self-combust from overexcitement. Go Ventures rings in the Love Festival So-Cal 2011 at Lake Irvine’s Oak Canyon Ranch with Paul Oakenfold, Felix Da Housecat, Funkagenda, Matt Darey, Junior Sanchez & DJ Reza, Nic Fanciulli, Marcus Schossow, Alex Kenji, Swedish Egil, LA Riots, and a platoon more of artists to put you into the right mood to groove.
