PETER WISE

Instagram / TikTok

Peter Wise is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Brooklyn, New York. His sound marries introspective lyricism with bluesy guitar lines, laid-back rhythms, anthemic hooks, and soulful vocals. It is both familiar and distinct, combining his love for the early seventies, southern California folk /rock storytelling, nineties Neo-soul and R&B grooves and modern pop/rock melodies to create a style uniquely his own. His music has been featured in such notable press outlets as Rolling Stone, Wonderland Magazine, Earmilk and American Songwriter Magazine, while garnering hundreds of thousands of streams on digital streaming platforms.

Wise grew up playing classical guitar and piano, before finding a love for classic rock music in middle school. In high school, Wise focused specifically on jazz music and the guitar. However, his love of singing and songwriting always persisted. Upon moving to New York City as a college student, he decided to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter. Mentored by award-winning songwriter Phil Galdston (Save The Best For Last) and the late Glenn Frey of The Eagles, Wise began making a name for himself in New York City as a live performer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist.

Wise spent the early part of 2023 recording and self-producing a thirteen-song album which he will begin releasing this summer with the lead single, Only Gotta Start. After a European tour in spring 2023, Wise will be hitting the road this summer and fall across the US, with European tour dates coming in November. Stay tuned!

Marley Striem is an 18 year old bassist and singer from New York City. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY surrounded by live music and picked up a strong passion for music at a very young age. Now Striem plays in venues all around NYC including Rockwood Music Hall, The Cutting Room, Brooklyn Bowl, Berlin Under A, and Industry City. Currently residing in Maplewood, NJ, Striem received a full tuition scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music.

Striem spent many years studying guitar and piano, always with bass as her principal instrument. She explores and experiments with jazz, metal, progressive rock, rnb, pop, and so much more in her bass playing. Striem has played bass in sessions for over 20 recording artists and plays bass in the live bands for internet sensation Rachel Grae as well as NFL wide receiver and singer Blake Proehl.

In recent years, Striem has dove deeper into her ideas with songwriting, which led to the release of her debut EP. Her experiences as an active session bassist truly enhanced her understanding of production and songwriting which led her to want to further establish herself as a recording artist.

“The Space Between Us” was released in February 2021, and is known for its groovy basslines and soulful lyrics, which gained notoriety on social media as Striem quickly developed a devoted fanbase. Later in the year, Striem released a summer single, “95/78” which gained her over 100k views on TikTok. Striem later joined Gibson Guitar Brands as an artist for the “Gibson Generation Group.” She joined the family as the first bassist to be a part of the program.

Striem’s connection to Gibson brought her to Nashville in April 2022 to record her upcoming EP. She spent ten days at Bold Studios with Grammy nominated producer Tyler Cain. Her tracks also feature Jon Lucas on drums, and Ty Bailie on organ.

The single release, “Bottles” hit the airwaves on August 19th with its upbeat tempo, illustrating the weekend nights of this generation. “Bottles” is the perfect indie pop dance hit that is great for Friday nights out or Saturday morning workouts. Exclusive content on the single is to be released on Gibson Guitar Brands platforms.
