About Kyle Sparkman
Website | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify
On a stormy night in Philadelphia with Parliament-Funkadelic blasting in the background, Kyle Sparkman was thrust into this world with a raging-red bushel of hair and an electric guitar in his hands.
His live show – energetic. His lyrics – prophetic. His fashion sense – pathetic. He's on a mission to pollute the world's hearts and minds with an accessibly-groovy brand of guitar-driven indie funk.
Once described as "Mac Demarco, John Frusciante, Tom Misch, and disco all rolled into one", Kyle's song "Funk215" was his first composition that traveled the world... and beyond. In 2022, astronaut Dr. Chris Boshuizen took flight into space alongside William Shatner and brought a hard drive containing "Funk215" into orbit with him.
