Los Angeles, CA (April 17, 2014) – Australian multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd returns to the United States & Canada this summer for a stint of festivals and headlining shows.

Joining Xavier for a portion of the summer run of dates is Australian blues musician and multiple ARIA-nominated artist, Ash Grunwald. Known for his incredible live shows and unique blend of roots, blues and groove, Ash released his 10th album, Gargantua, this past summer on Shock Records.  

The multi-instrumentalist, surfer, animal rights activist and nature conservationist Xavier Rudd is at his most creative on his most recent release, Spirit Bird – once again painting breath-taking pictures with vivid, unmistakable tones. Hypnotic ceremonial rhythms ease effortlessly into tender folk songs. Gritty guitar blues sits perfectly alongside entrancing yidaki passages. Rudd’s voice and the voice of his ancestors yet again bear intense truth and knowledge.
