Rising from the NYC underground glam scene & basking in the glow of critical adoration for their debut album, The Ritualists now seek to build on their brand of "Gothic Art Rock" with a new full-length effort, Baroque & Bleeding (to be released on Suite 484 Music). The band, which has oftentimes been identified as proudly embracing the more ornate elements of Rock-n-Roll, have promised their sophomore effort, which was co-produced and mixed by legendary producer, Ed Buller, will further test such boundaries. In describing the new record, lead vocalist/songwriter Christian Dryden has promised "an exploration of the importance of being earnest and the pitfalls of being ornate, in an atmosphere that seems to embrace the vapid, safe and mediocre."
