The Band’s historic farewell concert in 1976 is honored in grand style, as 35 of the area’s finest performers join together to play the iconic songs performed by The Band, and their guests,Van Morrison, Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan,Eric Clapton, Joni Mitchell, & Ronnie Hawkins.

This year marks 45 years since The Last Waltz was performed at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom on Thanksgiving night. Turkey dinner was served to all of the attendees and in that fashion The Hamilton has created an instant legend “Turkey Dinner In a Mason Jar” which is included in the admission fee and is served during intermission to all guests. This year marks the 9th performance of Newmyer Flyer’s ‘Last Waltz’ Tribute which debuted there in 2012 as a BandHouse Gigs show.
Newmyer Flyer is the 2nd music production company founded by Ron Newmyer, co-creator of BandHouse Gigs. Newmyer specializes in creating unique tribute shows that showcase the great wealth of talent found throughout the area. Past performances have included the Dream Discs album tribute series, Laurel Canyon: Golden Songs of Los Angeles 1966-73, Love Songs; The Beatles, The Songs of Burt Bacharach &Hal David, The Best of Janis Joplin & Jimi Hendrix, Layla & Assorted Eric Clapton and others
