The T Rex Broadway series is back with a Holiday twist!

Home for the Holidays will include broadway actors and musicians Merritt David Janes, Cooper Grodin, Elysia Jordan, Steve Czarnecki, Liz Shivener, Matt Cusack, and Andy Peterson. They will be performing broadway songs from past roles, as well as holiday favorites!

This event will include our new "Dinner and a Show" option! Dinner and a Show is a brand new concept to give you an opportunity to explore more of what The Essex Experience has to offer! This ticket includes premium admission to the show and dinner.

Our on-campus restaurant partners, Black Flannel and Salt and Bubbles, will be hosting a special pre-fix dinner for special guests of Songs I've Lived. Arrive at the respective restaurant between 5 and 5:30 PM the day of the show to be treated to a special 3-course dinner! Gratuity and Taxes are included. Drinks are not included.

Please be sure to fill out your guest's preferences before December 6th. This includes any allergies or vegetarian/omnivore preferences. Tickets will go off sale on December 6th.

Don't miss your chance to see this once-in-a-lifetime performance in the T-Rex theater at the Essex Experience.

COVID GUIDELINES AS OF SEPT 1 2020

Because of the rise of the Delta variant, The Double E will begin requiring proof of vaccination via an immunization record card (or a high-quality image of it) and a matching photo ID starting September 1st, 2021. The safety of you, the artists, and our team is our number one priority. We've been sure to disinfect the T Rex between each use and provide hand sanitizer in and around our facility, and we've also installed the highest-quality air filters in the six HVAC units that ventilate the interior of The Double E. The state of Vermont has done a phenomenal job at getting vaccinated, so we hope this new policy won't prevent too many people from joining us. If it does preclude you from enjoying our indoor entertainment, we encourage you to get a shot and join us for a show! Current ticket holders who decide that this policy does not work for them must request a refund before September 20th. Our outdoor shows will remain unaffected by this new rule. Children will be allowed into the venue without vaccination if they wear a mask for the duration of the event.

THE DOUBLE E: T REX THEATER

The Double E Performance Center is home to The T Rex Theater - a 400 seat multipurpose events space that hosts blockbuster movies, the best-sounding concerts, engaging speaking events, live-streamed programs, and private rentals as well! This is a general admission seated show in the T Rex Theater - seats are first-come, first-served. Our theater is outfitted with plush reclining chairs featuring cupholders that make for the most comfortable concert-going experience in Vermont.

  • Unless otherwise listed, our shows are all ages. All guests need a ticket to seated shows. Much like an airline, we will welcome well-behaved babies who can stay seated on their parent's laps. We ask that parents remove loud or distracting children and cooperate if our concert staff ask you to do so.

  • Drinks are allowed in the theater; cupholders are available with each chair

  • Dancing is more than welcome! We will never ask you to sit down, but please be aware of your impact on your neighbors. Folks are welcome to dance in aisleways so long as they follow the directions of our concert staff. Folks may be asked to vacate aisleways at times and dance in their seat. Seat aisles are larger than most theaters!

  • Concerts often feature visualizers, flashing lights, and fast movement

  • Tickets are nonrefundable unless the show is completely canceled

Located on the campus that used to be known as The Essex Outlets and Cinema, The Essex Experience is an effort to reclaim retail spaces and turn them into cultural centers. You can spend a whole day here with Black Flannel Brewery, Black Flannel Distillery, Magic Man Cannabis Cafe, Sukho Thai, Uncommon Coffee, Arthound Gallery, The Mad Taco, The Double E Performance Center, Essex Cinemas, and so much more.

Our venue is completely ADA Accessible. Row H features wheelchair-accessible space, as well as accessible seating. If special accommodations will make your visit more comfortable, please reach out to us at Info@DoubleEVermont.Com
