RÓMCHIE

Born in the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem, Rómchie (pronounced Rome-chee) is a 24yo soulful baritone whose sensual tone, vulnerable lyrics, and emotive harmonic sensibilities pay tribute to Sadé and James Blake, among others. After escaping to the US as a refugee and building an event music business in NYC, Rómchie is now stepping into the foreground on his own terms. He will bring his original music to life for the first time at Rockwood in collaboration with some of NYC’s finest musicians.
