Petite Amie
Website
Petite Amie is a psychedelic pop-rock band from Mexico City. In 2020, the group of friends decided to get together to create their first self-titled LP, which was released in October 2021.

Their lyrics are characterized by the expression of the existential angst generated by the search for the “self” in an increasingly impersonal world, where the line between what’s real and what’s virtual crystallizes. In this sense, Petite Amie’s music fluctuates between different genres, based on psychedelic pop-rock. Their main influences include classics like the Beatles, Pink Floyd, and newer sounds such as Big Thief, Magic Potion, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Crumb.

Nonfiction
Website
Nonfiction was conceived in 2018 in Philadelphia, PA. It is comprised of Joey Ginaldi, Evan King, Connor Rothstein, Sean McCall, Alex LaVallee, and Ryn Hearing. Photography, videography, graphic design, management, booking, and a majority of recording is handled by members of Nonfiction. The goal of the band is to foster an environment in which they can create expressive and visceral art through sound, color, movement, and collaboration.

Following the release of the 2018 EP—Same Pain—Nonfiction shifted focus toward writing a debut LP. Over the course of the following two years, the band sought refuge in an isolated cabin deep in the hills of Narrowsburg, NY to explore new sounds and feelings. The result of these experiences culminated in a collection of ten songs. I Painted This One Blue was recorded at Headroom Studios in Philadelphia, produced by Joe Reinhart (HopAlong) and Conor Murphy (Foxing), mixed by Joe Reinhart, and mastered by Alan Douches.

Humilitarian
Website
The five-piece rock group, borne out of dusty basement shows and independent venues of Philadelphia, came out screaming from the start with a sound drawn from jam-band psychedelia and crunchy alt-rock, laced with touches of funk, jazz, and indie rock. Following the release of their debut EP in February 2020 and a subsequent single in October 2020, Humilitarian has released their sophomore EP, titled Head in a Jar. Save for the title track, Head in a Jar was written and recorded in full during the pandemic and touches on themes of frustration, listlessness, and longing felt by many during the challenging year.
