10:05pm Alice King

Alice King is more than just an artist, Alice King is a vision and now is the time for our perceptions to change and for us to be unified in love, equality, and empowerment. As a mixed ethnicity Cali native, Alice has worked hard to be successful as a working professional in the entertainment business and has traveled the world studying, performing, and interacting with legends such as Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Usher, and Mary J Blige just to name a few. Growing up in the mecca of it all has been a blessing and also a challenge in finding ways to stand out amongst the dime a dozen here in Los Angeles.

Not only is Alice King a singer-songwriter, but has been a professional dancer and actress hitting every lot and every studio. She was most recently featured on Showtime’s Penny Dreadful City of Angels, and has performed on prestigious award shows such as the Latin Grammys, the VMAs, the BET Awards, and the American Music Awards. Her background in dance goes hand in hand with her music. As a performer she is electric, funky, sultry, and groovy baby! She was raised on Soul, Funk, and Rock and absolutely loves live instrumentation! Come to a show and prepare to feel your chest thump and your heart glow. Influenced by the likes of Prince, Michael & Janet Jackson, Pink, James Brown, Bruno Mars, Tina Turner, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Janelle Monae, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and many more, Alice brings color to her canvas and weaves in different textures of feeling.  There’s something familiar yet something refreshing to discover.

Alice King has toured Southern California with her band playing at venues such as The Viper room, House Of Blues, 1720 Warehouse, The 626 Night Market at The Santa Anita Racetrack, and was slated to play the Troubadour right before the 2020 quarantine. Ms. King has worked hard to build constant growing momentum and since has been laying down even more foundation as a songwriter as she prepares for what is next.

Having a diverse background and multiple perspectives, the intention behind her music is to spread more love and compassion for one another.  Her super power is relatability and empathy. Growing up she listened to a variety of music and is here to cater to diverse ears by fusing genres together and taking the audience on a dynamic musical journey.

When you’re from LA, there’s something about having a non-chalant attitude in the rat race that comes with the upbringing. The best from all over the world come to bring you new perspectives and humility, the locals in turn provide a sense of grounding and center. When you’re a local to the chaos of Hollywood, it seems like there’s a tunnel vision way of navigating through it.  Alice King is one of those relatable, down to earth, and genuine souls guiding others to the possibility of their passions. For her, music and dance is more so a way of life, a culture, a lifestyle...something about it feels right at home and unjaded. It’s not about pursuing the Hollywood fantasy it’s about gaining respect and honoring those that came before you while pursuing your heart’s soul mission. It’s about chasing dreams and blazing trails. Her goal as an artist is to make the wiser generations proud and uplift the younger generations to follow a healthier rabbit hole of wonder and adventure through movement and sound.

9:10pm Good Talk

Good Talk is a 6 piece music-making-machine of disco, funk, new wave, and a light splash of Kenny G. The band consists of four friends who met in High School, a Pittsburgher, and a Sax-Slinging Vocalist. When they’re not dunking on each other in the group chat, they’re writing, rehearsing, and recording new music at their homemade Studio in Los Angeles (aka Baba’s House). They’re currently working on an EP set to release late 2021-early 2022.

8:20pm Zahraa

Bio Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Zahraa is an alternative pop
artist who is raw, unusual, and unapologetic. Her hypnotic vocals,
songwriting skills, petite frame yet exuberant persona have allowed her
to steal the attention of anyone who hears her sing. Her music is the
result of her family’s deep Moroccan roots and her growing fascination
with R&B, Soul, and Pop music.

7:30 Subi

SUBI is an indie singer-songwriter who weaves tales of love and loss, sorrow and joy, encapsulating all the wonderful contradictions that are the human condition.

SUBI manipulates point of view to emote both herself and mentally created amorphous characters, exploring the universality of emotion.
