With a career spanning over fifteen years, electro-pop powerhouse Dragonette has returned with her acclaimed new album Twennies. On Twennies, Dragonette, Martina Sorbara, chose to work with one creative partner for the entire project - the LosAngeles based producer Dan Farber (Dizzee Racal, Lizzo). The two artists spent several weeks together holed up in Sorbara’s Toronto studio, where they wrote the majority of the record. “I’ve never concentrated on working on an album like that; just living and breathing this one thing, ”she shares. Twennies marks a full-circle moment for Sorbara. “It’s a true hybrid of my original influences as a child and what I’ve learned along the way. It feels so representative of my musical journey. ”She adds, “It’s my favorite thing I’ve ever done. I’m so proud of it.”

Sasha Rome:

Brooklyn-based Sasha Rome is bringing vintage sounds back to the dancefloor through his fresh indie-disco sound. Fusing nostalgically funky four-on-the-floor rhythms with his own hypnotic guitar riffs, the producer-songwriter-guitarist captivates audiences whether they stumble upon Sasha Rome in the club or at home. With tracks landing on lauded tastemaker labels including Kitsuné Musique, Dome of Doom, and Playitlouder with original tracks and remixes for both local and international talent (QRTR, Geotheory, Mazde), the musician proves his passion for true artistry and authentic collaboration is the pillar of his project. Sasha Rome is a New York City live favorite, performing on stages at venues including Webster Hall, Elsewhere, and Schimanski, supporting artists like Channel Tres, Claptone, and Psychemagik. His debut EP, "Criminal" via Jadu Dala was released in 2022 to a great reception, getting over 500k streams.   A sophomore EP is planned for 2023.
