The exciting, innovative, and unique Mexico City psychedelic cumbia punk live music experience that must be witnessed to be believed! Brothers Alan Gama (Mongo) on marimba; Jesús Ángel Gama (Kacho) on marimba; José Gama (Kilos) on conga, güiro, and other percussion; grew up learning the marimba with their father, a professional Mexican folk musician. After a stint in punk bands, they joined Raúl Albarran on bass and Ricardo López on drums in combining the virtuosic traditional training of their childhood with the energy and attitude of their rock'n'roll rebellion and their love of cumbia and other pan-Latin genres. The result is sweaty dynamic and original sound that's been blowing minds around the world the last few years. Pinc Louds

"The band that saved summer” (ABC News), whose feature was just the cover story of July's Village Voice, was born in 2015 when lead singer, Claudi, moved from Puerto Rico to NYC to fulfill her dream of playing in the subway. Here, she quickly gained a following, including Paul Banks (of Interpol) who called her performance “Absolutely epic. This music turned my soul” and NOFX who brought Pinc Louds on their European tour “Punk in Drublic” in 2022. 
Pinc Louds draws influences from such diverse artists as Pixies, Billie Holiday, Ink Spots, Daniel Johnston and Ismael Rivera. Doowop-crooners? Tropical-punk? Gritty, sincere and thrilled to be alive. 
 With venues closed due to the pandemic, 2020 put Pinc Louds in a new setting: NYC’s Tompkins Square Park. Here, the band brought together humans from all walks of life in possibly the most joyous and inclusive environment the NYC music scene has ever seen.
