About The Maguas

Website // FB // IG // Twitter // YouTube // Spotify // Apple Music

An emo-leaning, alt-rock outfit based in Scranton, PA, The Maguas are Erik Miller (Vocals), Matthew Jenkins (Lead Guitar), Daulton Rissinger (Rhythm Guitar), Luke Prusinski (Bass), and Brandon Ossont (Drums).

The band released their debut EP, Good Beer, in 2019. The self-produced record was a demonstration of their unique capabilities, boasting songs individually crafted by each member—except for “Funeral.” The closing track drew on a collaborative effort in an anthemic display of their aggressive pop-punk power, which soon accentuated performances alongside the likes of The Dangerous Summer, Secondhand Serenade, and The Spill Canvas.

Partnering with producer Nik Bruzzese (Man Overboard, The Wonder Years), The Maguas began developing their sophomore release in early 2020. One of Us Is Lying dropped later that year, receiving recognition from outlets including The Popko Project and Alternative Press.

The band’s third EP dropped in Dec. 2021. Evergreen garnered over 100k streams in its first month, attracting listeners across emo generations with its novel-but-nostalgic sound and dark, vulnerable lyrical themes. Ahead of the release, they embarked on their first U.S. tour, alongside Dear Youth and Outatime!, and earned features from publications such as chorus.fm and Volatile Weekly.

Charging full steam ahead in 2022, The Maguas are now recording for a summer release. Their debut full-length album is also in the works and anticipated for 2023.

About Glimmers

Website // FB // IG // Twitter // YouTube // Spotify // Apple Music

In early 2020, five friends who’d been playing music together since the summer of 2019 decided to put a fresh stamp on their collective, glimmers. Meeting separately but all through mutual friends, the five members of glimmers formed as the backing band of Atlanta artist Maggie Schneider – but what started as a backing band quickly became a family.

The band’s debut EP ‘Cluttered Heart’ introduced the 5-piece to the world through standout singles like ‘Don’t Tell Me’ and ‘For Me It’s You.’ In just 5 months of being a band, the EP reached a total of 100,000 streams, receiving attention from outlets like Substream Magazine, iDobi Radio, and Hot Topic. The pop/rock group find their main influences in the melodic sounds of Mayday Parade, the personal lyrics of All Time Low, and the songwriting of Julia Michaels.

Now, the glimmers family is ready to share the next chapter of their story. Building off of their previous EP, ‘Worlds Apart’ tells the story of a relationship from its ending. The first taste of this storyline shines through their lead single “Not Good at Goodbyes,” which encapsulates the feeling of being the main character in a coming-of-age movie.

glimmers is about connection. Whether it be the friendship of the bandmates or the intimate connection felt between the band and their fans at a live show. Look these songs in the eyes and let a glimmer of light into your cluttered heart.
