DON MCCLOSKEY 

Don McCloskey is an eclectic singer-songwriter and performing artist combining musical elements of folk, psychedelia, rock, and pop. His songs have appeared in the Oscar Award-winning film Bowling for Columbine, the television series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Apple podcasts, Audible scripted dramas, national ad campaigns, radio, and have garnered millions of streams. He has toured nationally both as a headliner and sharing stages with a diverse group of artists from Raekwon, Amos Lee, Schoolly D, Donavon Frankenreiter, The White Buffalo, G. Love and Special Sauce, to the cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

His 4th album “The Chaos and The Beauty” comes out April 29th. The first single, First in Flight, was featured prominently in the Season 2 finale of Apple TV’s Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet and has been streamed over a million times. The Chaos and The Beauty was recorded to analogue tape at the Honey Jar in Brooklyn with an 8-piece band. McCloskey and the band return to Rockwood for the first of three summer dates on Thursday, June 30th playing the new record, songs from the catalogue and select covers with musical guests.
